The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council is pleased to announce the 2017 BC Aboriginal Provincial Archery Camp, hosted in partnership with the Osoyoos Indian Band and BC Archery Association, will be held March 11-12, 2017 in Oliver, BC.

This development camp is an opportunity for Aboriginal youth (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) ages 10-18 to experience the sport of archery in a safe and controlled environment with quality instructors.

All levels of ability welcome. Beginners and experienced archers will be grouped accordingly. No equipment or experience necessary!

A sport relying upon accuracy and precision, archery is a sport featured in the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG), Canada Winter Games, and the Olympic Games!  This is a rare opportunity to gain experience and exposure to this target sport and develop new skills. Thanks to the support of the Province of BC, the fee to participate in the camp is just $30 and includes lunch (both days).  Equipment provided if you do not already have your own.

Athletes must register before Friday, March 3, 2017 and submit camp registration fee before March 8 to secure a spot. Spots are limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
